Dark Shadows

Hey! I had been craving my Kat Von D Love & Fury palette and couldn't wait to get my hands on it! Then when I did, I had absolutely no idea what to do. I pretty much just decided that all the colors I wanted, I was going to use. To help me out, I also used my Tarte's True Blood palette, which really brought the look together for me. I LOVE the True Blood palette, by the way. If there was ever a time where I had to choose just ONE palette for the rest of my life, it would be this palette. It has neutrals and colors... just beautiful. I love my Naked palette, but I love color too. anyways, to the point, when I finished this look, my mom was telling me that it reminded her of Dark Shadows. Dark Shadows is one of her favorite shows. A movie based off the show will be coming out this year- Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter- you can't go wrong! I've always loved darker themes too, so anything with vampires is usually good with me. X) A fun, dark colored smokey eye for you, I hope you guys like it!

Red Geisha

Hellllo!! I clearly have not gotten my Sugarpill crave out of the way. I can't help but want to figure out what I can do with the few colors I have as much as possible. I definitely need to make an order soon. Asylum, Magpie, Royal Sugar, and Lumi... I need more!! Anyways, I was feeling like doing something I normally wouldn't wear when I made this look. Believe me, any look I create, I wear with pride in public. I looooove color! It's a rare day when I go with a neutral eye. I wish glitter would show up better in pictures, but it rarely does... Sigh. Anyways, I was thinking about doing a Valentine's Day look, but the red was as far as I got. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do for the day- both makeup and with my boyfriend. What are your plans?

Blue Storm

Hey! Thank you so much for the support on a the job situation. I really appreciate it. :) Just to show you how much, I wanted to get a new look up as soon as possible! I just can't seem to keep my eyes off of the Royal Sugar pigment from Sugarpill. It's just so gorgeous! I made the mistake of starting this look without using a sticky base though -____- so it took me a lot longer to get the blue to stick. I still love how it turned out, just wouldn't have taken me so long! My favorite part about this look is how dark and bright it is at the same time. Awesome contrast! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! :)

Chocolate Raspberry

Hey guys! It's been a depressing couple of days. My work had to shut down, so everyone got laid off. I no longer have a job. :( I am trying to take this well, so something that helped was finding out that Ulta is hiring!! I'm going to go in on Monday. I feel like telling them that they NEED to hire me because every time I'm there I start putting misplaced products back where they belong. Ahh here's hoping. Tequila Sunrise

Hello! I was looking around for colors that I haven't used in a while and I found a few colors from Lali cosmetics. My mom had gotten me them quite some time ago when we were at the Grove, a gorgeous outside mall. I really hadn't been into cosmetics at that point and just thought it was cool that the mineral shadows could be used for eye shadows, lip sticks, and nail polish. How young I was. Now that I've found them, I'm so excited to use them the way they should be used (in other words, not neglecting them). When I was going through the colors that I have, #7 is the one that I instantly was drawn to. It's a really pretty pink color with shimmer. It feels like more than pink to me, but I can't think of the name for the color. I hope you guys like it!








I don't know what happened with this picture to make it look less pigmented in the middle, it didn't look like that whenever I looked in a mirror!

Blue Moon

Hey! I was looking at Cecile's (GlitterGirlC) Sparkly Snow look and it's absolutely fabulous! Her application of makeup never fails and is always amazing. I have a lot of the same products that she used to complete the look but I didn't want to copy it completely, especially since I would be going to work later. I don't want to do too much for fear that they will eventually tell me, "Geena, it's too much. You need to start toning it down." I did really want to do something similar though because Sugarpill's Royal Sugar and Nyx's Disco Ball are toooo pretty! The only problem I had with making the look is that i accidentally brought Nyx's Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk too far up, creating the line in the Royal Sugar. If only I had the time to fix it- I had already taken a look I started and decided I hated off just to do this one. I hope you guys like it! I included a picture of a "blue moon" that I thought was lovely too.

Easter Eggs

Hey! I hope you guys are having a great MLK Jr weekend! I have spent it working and without my boyfriend since he is on a trip to Oregon with his hockey team. So, what's a bored girl to do with a couple hours before work with nothing to do and pretty makeup in front of her? Well, makeup. :D I know it's early to be doing an Easter inspired look, but going through the pictures that my friend, Skylar, gave me for inspiration, the chocolate Easter eggs are the ones that I wanted to do the most. When looking at the picture, I instantly thought of this look and was really excited to get started on it. So, you can take it as an Easter egg look or not, it's still fun and colorful.
