Rainbow Parfait

For the first look I did from my Vegas trip I wanted to try to incorporate all of the colors from this lovely Aquataenia palette from Lime Crime, as well as their Uniliners! It was much brighter in person, and I'm sorry for the box of light around my eye. Dang bright light in the bathroom. I tried turning my back, but it took out a lot of the light. Ah. Oh, well. :( What's funny about this trip is that I did a different look on each eye when I was trying out all of the looks. Then I got hungry and had to walk down into the casino to find some food. Didn't get too many looks. The things you can get away with in Vegas. lol I'm pretty sure a drunk girl was giving me the once over when I walked by. Super crazy. I didn't get a very good picture of my eye closed on this one. Just two good open pics. With bright boxes on my eye. Sigh.

Spring Berries

I KNOW! I start off every post with an apology now! But, seriously, it has just been SOOOOOO HOT these past couple of months that putting on makeup hasn't exactly been something that's on my mind. In fact, one particular day, I seriously had balls of sweat dripping off my face while applying eyeshadow. BALLS OF SWEAT! So, I apologize profusely and hope to be on track more now that it's getting slightly cooler. Keep in mind though, I do have college, and internship (yay!), and work. But fortunately at work, I keep getting requests to do certain kinds of looks. SO, I'll be posting those as soon as I can. :) I love you guys!

Hey everybody!
How was your spring break??
I went to San Diego with my boyfriend to visit Sea World, the zoo, and the wild animal park. It was an amazing trip. I had so much fun! My favorite part would definitely be the sea lions. They were absolutely hilarious. I'm going to make a post with pictures from the trip and the absolutely hilarious sea lion my boyfriend got on video.
Now, with this look, my boyfriend had some gum in his truck that he always forgets is there and then gets really excited when he finds it. It was Trident Layers Sweet Cherry + Island Lime flavor. So, I made a look based off of it. Coincidentally, the same day, Phlox from EyeGraffiti made a look called Sour Apple Eyes that is similar to mine, just with black. I loooove their looks, so if you haven't checked them out, DO IT! They are fantastic inspiration.

Tequila Sunrise

Hello! I was looking around for colors that I haven't used in a while and I found a few colors from Lali cosmetics. My mom had gotten me them quite some time ago when we were at the Grove, a gorgeous outside mall. I really hadn't been into cosmetics at that point and just thought it was cool that the mineral shadows could be used for eye shadows, lip sticks, and nail polish. How young I was. Now that I've found them, I'm so excited to use them the way they should be used (in other words, not neglecting them). When I was going through the colors that I have, #7 is the one that I instantly was drawn to. It's a really pretty pink color with shimmer. It feels like more than pink to me, but I can't think of the name for the color. I hope you guys like it!








I don't know what happened with this picture to make it look less pigmented in the middle, it didn't look like that whenever I looked in a mirror!

Easter Eggs

Hey! I hope you guys are having a great MLK Jr weekend! I have spent it working and without my boyfriend since he is on a trip to Oregon with his hockey team. So, what's a bored girl to do with a couple hours before work with nothing to do and pretty makeup in front of her? Well, makeup. :D I know it's early to be doing an Easter inspired look, but going through the pictures that my friend, Skylar, gave me for inspiration, the chocolate Easter eggs are the ones that I wanted to do the most. When looking at the picture, I instantly thought of this look and was really excited to get started on it. So, you can take it as an Easter egg look or not, it's still fun and colorful.

Violet Sunset

Hey guys! I hope everyone's New Years was awesome! I had a great time last night. Especially since the Kings won against the Canucks. (I'm a really big hockey fan!)
